Obituary of Mary E. Balsama

Mary E. (Betty) Balsama (nee Ruediger) Betty Balsama passed away peacefully at home on January 20, 2015. She was 82 years old. Born in Olney, PA, she was a resident of Edgewater Park since 2003 and prior to that Delanco. She was a member of Jesus the Good Shepherd Parish (St. Joseph’s Church, Beverly) and active in the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Altar Rosary Society and Women of Joy (Corpus Christi Church). She was the beloved wife of Carmen A., dear sister of Frances Barral, devoted mother of Michael W. (Denise), Mark S. (Patricia), Bruce D. (Debra), Sharon S. Balsama, Lisa A. Balsama and the late David P. She was also the loving grandmother of Kristen Eckhardt, Devon Balsama, Kayli Balsama, Tina Lonkhart and the late Steven Balsama and Jennifer Balsama. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the viewing Tuesday, January 27th from 8:30 am – 10 am at the Chadwick Memorial Home, 154 Webster St., Riverside, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am at Jesus the Good Shepherd Parish (St. Joseph’s Church), Beverly, NJ. Interment to follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery, Riverside, NJ.
