Obituary of Janice R. Brennan

Janice Ruth Brennan of Burlington Twp. passed away Sunday, April 22, 2018 at the Masonic Village, Jacksonville Rd., Burlington, NJ. She was 89 years old. Born in Delanco, NJ on June 13, 1928 to John David Deveney and Gertrude Mae Voshell Deveney.

Janice was the wife of the late Owen F. Brennan and is survived by one son, Owen D. (Mickey) Brennan and 2 grandchildren: Owen Travis Brennan and Amanda Breeden both in Tennessee, and 9 great grandchildren. Sister of the late David H. Deveney.

She has 11 nieces and nephews, including Roseanne Scott in Delran, NJ, Mary Catherine Willibur in Burlington, NJ and Scott Deveney in Stanwood, WA.

Janice was a bookkeeper until her marriage. Organizations she was affiliated with include the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 146 Riverside, NJ since 1936, member of original Delanco Recreation Commission, Red Dragon Canoe Club in Edgewater Park, NJ, lifetime member of the Masonic Camp Club and member of Jersey Joe’s Drum and Bugle Corp. and Auxillary. Church affiliation was Delanco Presbyterian Church.

Service will be held Thursday, April 26, at the Chadwick Memorial Home, 154 Webster St., Riverside, NJ. Viewing from 11 am to 12, with service at Noon. Interment Monument Cemetery, Beverly, NJ.
