Obituary of Eugene D. Fabbi
Eugene passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Sept. 8, 2018. Age 83.
Born in Phila, PA, Eugene was a resident of Brigantine since 1999. He proudly served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War. Eugene was employed as a postal carrier for the U. S Postal Service, Tacony Station for more than thirty years. He was a life member of VFW Post 6964, Brigantine. He was an avid sports fan and coached baseball and basketball at Holmesburg Boys Club.
Beloved husband for 55 years to Theresa (nee Morelli). Devoted father of Gina Carroll (Gary) and John Fabbi (Phyllis). Loving grandfather of Douglas (Lyndsey), Elizabeth Carroll and Amanda Fabbi. Dear brother of Lorraine Mullen and the late Louis Fabbi and Nancy Gambino. Brother in law of Daniel Morelli and Ginnie Jobba. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the viewing Thursday evening from 7-8 pm at the Chadwick Memorial Home, 154 Webster St., Riverside, NJ 08075. There will also be a viewing Friday morning from 9:30 am -10:45 am at Our Lady of Consolation Church, 7056 Tulip St., Phila., PA. Mass of Christian Burial 11 am. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem, PA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Little Sisters of the Poor, Holy Family Home, 5300 Chester Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19143.
