Obituary of Alice A. Adams

Alice A. Adams (nee Posch), passed away peacefully in her childhood home on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. A lifelong resident of Riverside, Alice was one of five daughters born to the late Regina (Nee Kirk) and Frank R. Posch. She was a graduate of Riverside High School, class of 1962. A single mother of three, she was a very hard worker and spent most of her 70’s and 80’s working for the Pirates Inn Restaurant, Mt Laurel, in which she held various positions. Alice then spent several years at Commerce Bank and part-time at Sam’s Club. She always enjoyed working with the public. Alice was the life of the party, doing funny stuff and making everyone laugh. Everyone in the family knew to bring their smiles when she was around. She was forever taking pictures, always two shots for good measure. Alice was always about family. “Be kind and be nice” she would often say. Alice was predeceased by her son, Samuel C. Adams. She leaves behind her children, Kimberly Stahl (Fred), George F. Adams (Alice), five grandchildren, Fred Stahl III, Meagan Stahl, Michelle Hoey (Jerry), Corrine Adams (fiance’ Rich) and Christopher Adams. Also surviving is one great grandchild, Olivia Camille Stahl, four sisters, Catherine Sowinski, Fran Johnsen, Doris Posch and Margaret Posch as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Monday morning , May 2, 2022 from 9 am to 11 am at the Chadwick Memorial Home, 154 Webster Street, Riverside. Service to follow at 11 am. Interment St. Peter Cemetery, Riverside.
