Obituary of Charles F. Macken

Charles F. Macken of Delran, formerly of Riverside and Crossville, TN. passed away peacefully on
February 15, 2022, at the age of 94.
Charles proudly served his country during WWII in the U. S. Navy. He was employed for 30 years as a lab
technician for RCA, Camden. Charles was an active member of St Casimir Holy Name Society and also
served as a church usher. While in Crossville, TN, Charles joined the Knights of Columbus and became
active in St. Alphonse's Church.
Beloved husband of Grace M. (nee Zimmer). Devoted father of Barbara Macken, Chris Macken (Pat),
Grace Brever, Norma Macken, Sheila Wooden, Elizabeth Jurimas (Bob) and daughter in law Joy Zimmer.
Predeceased by sons James Zimmer and Charles Macken. Grandfather of 13, great grandfather of 19 and
great great grandfather of 1.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 am Saturday , July 16, 2022 at
Resurrection Parish, St. Casimir Church, Riverside. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Vietnam
Veterans of America,8719 Colesville Rd., Silver Spring, MD 20910.
