Obituary of Christopher A. Rafferty

Christopher A. Rafferty of Delanco died Thursday, Jan. 1, 2015. He was 44. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, Chris was a Delanco resident for the past 40 years. He was very active at St. Casimir Church, Riverside where he served as an altar boy for nine years and in his adult years, volunteering at church events, especially at carnival time. Chris was also a Boy Scout and member of Washington Fire Co. 1, Delanco. He was the beloved son of James R. and Barbara (Atzert) Rafferty; loving father of Alexander; dear brother of Jeff (Eileen), Jennifer Suarez (Martin) and Rebecca; uncle of Matthew, Colin, Ashley, Isabella and Sofia. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Chris's viewing Tuesday from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at The Chadwick Memorial Home, 154 Webster St., Riverside. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. at the Church of the Resurrection, (St. Casimir Church), Riverside. Interment will be in St. Peter's Cemetery, Riverside.
