Deepest condolences to my cousin Barbara and her family. I have many wonderful memories of my Aunt Dollie and her family. We lived next to each other for a good portion of our lives and the cousins all grew up together. Aunt Dollie had an infectious laugh and that is how I will always remember her.

I was fortunate to grow up at a time and in a town where so many aunts, uncles and cousins lived in close proximity. Our next-door neighbors were my Aunt Dolly, Uncle Feb, cousins Febby, Richard and Barbara.
My first memory of Aunt Dolly was at a birthday party at her home, It was either Febby or Richard's birthday and Aunt Dolly served hamburgers. I was very young, maybe 3 or 4 years old and I started to cry because I didn't like hamburgers. Aunt Dolly said I'll fix it special and you'll like it. She put ketchup mustard and relish on it and I did like it, and still like it that way to this day.
Another vivid memory from back in the day was all of us kids watching cartoons and Aunt Dolly laughing just as hard as we were. I remember her pizzelle cookies and her timing method "Say a Hail Mary and when you finish the prayer the pizzelle is done." I remember eating her zucchini bread, it was as good as any cake I ever had.

Barbara and family, I am so sorry for the loss of Aunt Dollie. You were blessed to have had her for 93 years, but I know it is so very hard to lose your Mom and Grandmother. I always enjoyed coming to your house as a kid and so enjoyed her spagetti and meatballs!!!! Love to you all.
