Dear Marter Family:
I would like to offer my condolences to the family. Nothing can prepare us for the loss of a loved one. Death is so painful. I read that Mr. Marter was married for 48 years. I'm always impressed to read of a marriage lasting so long. I would like to offer comforting words to the family. The Bible says at 2 Corinthians 1:3,4 that God is the God of all comfort, and he comforts us in all of our tribulations, so we in turn can comfort others. This scripture makes it clear that God wants to and will bring your family comfort.

I am unable to attend the viewing or service do to other commitments. Please accept my condolences. I am so sorry. Richie was a part of my life when we were playing softball together.
